I
Scope & Criteria Definition
The analysis method, time horizon, scenario (RCP/SSP), spatial scale, and temperature threshold are defined.
II
Physical Asset Identification
Asset class, value, sector, location, and service life are identified. Existing and planned assets are assessed separately.
III
Data Collection & Geolocation
High-resolution climate data is compiled. Sectoral activity and location sensitivity are examined.
IV
Hazard Selection & Analysis
10 hazards (temperature rise, drought, extreme wind, wildfire, extreme precipitation, water stress, landslide, sea level rise, cold wave, heat wave) are prioritized by sector; calculations are performed using high-resolution regional climate models.
V
Single-Hazard Risk Classification
Risk scores for each hazard are calculated on a scale from Very Low (1) to Very High (5).
VI
Multi-Hazard Rating
A weighted hazard composite produces an overall risk score. For the finance sector, this can be combined with transition risk to produce an integrated, two-sided climate risk report.
